I understand and agree to be bound to the following terms and conditions when I submit my idea or the idea of a minor in my care to The Edmonton Project or its affiliates or subsidiaries (herein collectively referred to as “The Edmonton Project”).

By sending a submission to The Edmonton Project I agree that:

I am at least 18 years old.

I am the owner of the idea I am submitting to The Edmonton Project or I’m submitting an idea on behalf of a minor in my care and therefore taking responsibility for their ownership of the idea.

The information I am submitting is true and correct.

I am not submitting an idea “in confidence” and acknowledge and agree that my submission does not create a confidential, fiduciary, or other special relationship with The Edmonton Project.

Submission of the idea to The Edmonton Project does not violate any agreement or understanding I, or the minor in my care, have with another party.

I am aware that I may be able to legally protect the idea I am submitting and I am freely giving up this right along with all copyright and intellectual property right claims I may have against The Edmonton Project for disclosing, evaluating, and using this idea.

I have not already submitted an idea.

I warrant that the submission does not contain any material or information (including images or sounds) that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, vulgar, profane, sexually explicit, obscene, racially or ethnically offensive, or otherwise objectionable.

I warrant that the submission does not contain any content (including Internet links, files, software, or images) that contains software viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, or any other computer code or files that are designed to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any software or hardware.

I give The Edmonton Project permission to use the idea being submitted or any part of the idea and do not expect compensation in return.

I am giving The Edmonton Project permission to disclose my full name, likeness or other information about me or the minor in my care in connection with the use of the submitted information and materials in the media, via its online properties, or in any printed materials.

I have read, understand, and agree to be bound to the above terms and conditions when I submit an idea to The Edmonton Project.
